A graduate of the Purcell School and the Royal College of Music where she was a Foundation Scholar and won the coveted Frederick Thurston Memorial Prize, Victoria Soames Samek has devoted her performing career to solo and chamber performances.
Concerto appearances include performances with the City of London Sinfonia and the BBC Scottish, with whom she also gave the first BBC broadcast of the personally commissioned bass clarinet concerto from Thea Musgrave Autumn Sonata (subsequently recorded under the direction of the composer).
